What does an Industrial Inspection consist of ?

Many people ask what is included within an inspection report. This is not always an easy question to answer because there are hundreds of items, components and issues we inspect. We work hard to make sure our clients understand the inspection process and take it into our hands to run honest reports.

Below is just the basics of what we inspect during your Industrial Inspection

Structural Systems

Such as Foundation Structures, floor framing and decking; other support and substructure components such as stairs, ventilation, concrete surroundings, grading and drainage, garages and habitable areas.

- Totality of External Structures including wall coverings, trim, protective coatings and sealants, windows and doors, balconies, handrails, carports, fascia's and visible exterior portions of chimneys. As well as, Roofing Structures including materials, gutters, downspout systems, flashing, roof vents, sky lights as well as other visible portions of this section.

-Totality of Internal Structures including the type and condition of the walls, insulation, ceilings, floors, windows, doors, steps and stairways in the subgrade, main and attic areas of the residence.

Main Systems

Such as Electrical Systems, this will include an overview on the location and status of the main panel; subpanels including feeders, branch circuits, connection devices and lighting fixtures.

- Totality of the Plumbing Systems, Visible water supply lines, visible water/ soil vent lines fixtures and faucets; domestic hot water systems and fuel source.

- Totality of Heating Systems, AC Systems, Ventilation Systems, all of which cover the fuel source, location, distribution and operating controls within the internal and external portions of the building.

Appliances

This includes kitchen appliances such as the dishwasher, food waste disposers, electric or gas ranges, cooktops and ovens, microwave ovens, range hoods and exhaust systems. Bathroom appliances that include exhaust systems, heating and the dryer system. Home Appliances, fireplaces, garage door operation.
